The Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers (RA-12021), now officially a law, underscores the TGP Party-List’s unwavering support for our Filipino seafarers. This comprehensive law guarantees fair work conditions, the right to organize, affordable education and training, and ensures seafarers’ families are kept informed when necessary. Additionally, it secures their rights to safe passage, free legal support, quick medical care, and fair treatment during maritime incidents. Kudos to my colleagues in the House of Representatives of the Philippines and Senate of the Philippines.
