The House Committee on Appropriations, chaired by Rep. Mikaela Angela B. Suansing, approved the proposed 2026 budget of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) led by Secretary Conrado Estrella III.
TGP Partylist Representative, Deputy Majority Leader and Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Appropriations, Congressman Bong Joson Teves Jr., joined fellow lawmakers in ensuring that the DAR budget prioritizes the welfare of Filipino farmers. Secretary Estrella assured that beyond land distribution, farmers will also receive vital support services and programs that will drive their growth and development.
