TGP Partylist Representative, Deputy Majority Leader, and Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Appropriations, Cong. Bong Joson Teves Jr., reaffirmed his strong support for education during the House Committee on Appropriations briefing chaired by Rep. Mikaela Angela B. Suansing on the proposed FY 2026 budget of the Department of Education (DepEd), led by Secretary Sonny Angara.
Cong. Bong J.Teves Jr. expressed his gratitude to Sec. Angara for recognizing his initiative, in coordination with the Baras LGU, that led to the completion and inauguration of the Typhoon-Resilient Classroom Building at Baras Elementary School in Baras, Catanduanes. The building is now being used by students, giving them safer and better classrooms to continue their learning.
