The House Committee on Appropriations, chaired by Rep. Mikaela Angela B. Suansing held a briefing on the proposed FY 2026 budget of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
As a gesture of courtesy to a former colleague in the House of Representatives, TGP Partylist Representative, Deputy Majority Leader and Vice Chairperson of the Committee on Appropriations, Cong. Bong Joson Teves Jr. seconded the motion to terminate the budget briefing for the DOE, now headed by Secretary Sharon Garin.
