TGP Partylist Representative and Deputy Majority Leader Congressman Bong Joson Teves Jr. personally visited several barangays in Virac, Catanduanes that were affected by the recent typhoon. Relief distribution reached the communities of San Vicente, Francia, Rawis, Magnesia Del Norte, Marilima, and Batag, bringing much-needed assistance to the residents. He was joined by Virac Mayor Posoy Sarmiento and PBM Bani Balmadrid to personally bring aid closer to the people.
This program was made possible through the support of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), who served as a vital partner in extending aid to affected families. Their contribution, together with the efforts of our leaders, brought not only relief goods but also hope and comfort to the people of Virac.
