TGP Partylist On-Ground Assistance After Typhoon Uwan

A day after Typhoon Uwan struck the province, TGP Party-List Representative and Deputy Majority Leader Congressman Bong Joson Teves Jr. personally extended his sympathy to the affected families in Catanduanes. He visited the towns of Viga, Caramoran, Panganiban, Bagamanoc, and Pandan to see the situation firsthand and listen to the concerns of the residents.

During these visits, Cong. Bong Teves Jr. met with the local mayors to gather accurate assessments and ensure that immediate support can be delivered to the communities in need. TGP Party-List is now coordinating with the National Government to fast-track the necessary assistance for all Catandunganons affected by the typhoon.

Together with Department of Social Welfare and Development – DSWD Secretary REX Gatchalian, Department of Agriculture – Philippines Secretary Francisco “Kiko” Tiu Laurel Jr., Department of Energy Secretary Sharon Garin, and other provincial and local officials, Cong. Bong Teves Jr. joined the inspection to assess the situation and ensure that immediate government aid will reach the affected families.

A new milestone for progress and community service!
