Spreading love and fulfilling duty on Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday. Deputy Majority Leader and TGP Party-List Representative Bong Joson Teves Jr. and fellow 19th Congress Representatives are in action at the Congress plenary hall.
In a collaborative effort, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 5 and TGP Party-List, led by Deputy Majority Leader Cong. Bong Joson Teves Jr., joined hands to distribute food packs to those in need. The initiative, held at Baras Gymnasium in Baras, Catanduanes, focused on assisting residents from coastal barangays including Danao, Putsan, P Teston, Benticayan, Puraran, Agban, JM Alberto, Genitligan, San Miguel, Buenavista, and Abihao. A total of 700 beneficiaries were provided with essential food items during the event.
The distribution efforts garnered support from local leaders, with Mayor Paolo Teves, Vice Mayor Rico Tating, and SB Members, including Councilors David Guerrero, Fidelito Soledad, and Diolito Tanael, actively participating in the event. This collaborative endeavor aimed to address the immediate needs of the community and foster a sense of unity in times of hardship, showcasing the power of collective action in supporting vulnerable populations.
