In a remarkable initiative, the TGP Party-List, under the leadership of Deputy Majority Leader and Representative Bong Joson Teves Jr., recently organized a transformative event in the Municipality of Opol, Misamis Oriental. The program, in collaboration with Senator Francis Tolentino and supervised by DOLE Region 10 – Misamis Oriental Provincial Office, successfully facilitated the payout for around 100 recipients through the TUPAD program.
The implementation was led by Triskelion Bro. Dean Paguia Jr. Among the recipients were fellow fraternity members, emphasizing the spirit of unity and community support. Notable attendees included Mayor Jay Francis Bago and the dedicated staff from the Office of Senator Tolentino, further highlighting the commitment to empowering local communities. In a successful turnover ceremony at the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Headquarters Parade Ground, Deputy Majority Leader and TGP Party-List Representative Bong Joson Teves Jr., along with Baras Mayor Paolo Teves III and Vice Mayor Rico Tating, joyfully accepted the keys to a cutting-edge 1000-gallon fire vehicle. The Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government, Atty. Benjamin C. Abalos Jr. graced the event.
The said fire trucks were granted through the initiative of Cong. Bong Joson Teves Jr. The request aims to fortify fire response capabilities in the municipalities of Baras, Pandan, Virac and other areas in Catanduanes.

Patuloy ang pamamahagi ng bigas ng TGP Partylist bilang pamaskong handog sa sektor ng transportasyon sa Catanduanes.
Sa panayam ng Radyo Pilipinas, sinabi ni TGP Rep. Bong Teves na aabot sa 12,000 packs ng tig-5 kilong bigas ang ipinamamahagi nila ngayon sa mga driver ng tricycle, jeep at bus sa lalawigan.
Isinali na rin aniya sa distribusyon ang ilang mga mangingisda na apektado ang pamumuhay ngayon bunsod ng madalas na masamang lagay ng karagatan.
Samantala, inanunsiyo naman ni Teves ang tungkol sa itatayong bagong Provincial Office ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Catanduanes at bagong fire station sa bayan ng Baras. Natapos na aniya ang bidding nito at inaasahang masisimulan ang konstruksyon sa susunod na taon.
Kabilang aniya ang nasabing mga gusali sa hiniling nya sa DILG at BFP noong taong 2022, kasabay ng limang bagong fire trucks para sa mga bayan ng Pandan, Virac, Bato at Baras.
Nitong 2023 budget hearing aniya ay muli nyang kinulit ang BFP kaugnay ng nasabing requests na nagbunga naman aniya dahil naiturn-over na ito sa mga benepisyaryong LGU kamakailan.
Sa huli ay tiniyak ni Teves na magpapatuloy ang pagpapaabot nya ng iba pang tulong sa Catanduanes sa pamamagitan ng TUPAD, AICS at medical assistance sa mga ospital na kaniyang pinaglaanan muli ng pondo para sa susunod na taon.
