In a collaborative initiative aimed at supporting rice farmers, the Department of Agriculture, through its program, has joined forces with the TGP Party-List, led by Deputy Majority Leader and TGP Party-List Representative Bong Joson Teves Jr. This joint effort, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture Region 5 under the leadership of Regional Executive Director Rodel P. Tornilla and the active participation of Milaor, Camarines Sur Mayor, Triskelion Bro. Anthony R. Reyes, seeks to provide vital assistance to the agricultural community.
The program has successfully reached out to 583 rice farmers in Milaor, Camarines Sur, offering not only agricultural support but also educational assistance. This collaborative endeavor reflects a commitment to empowering local farmers, enhancing their livelihoods, and fostering sustainable agricultural practices. Through such partnerships, communities are strengthened, and the agricultural sector receives the support it needs to thrive, ensuring a brighter future for the region’s farming families.
